PCSAA Fall Classic 2019

Washington, DC
Hosted by BASIS DC

Meet Information

PCSAA Fall Classic: Tuesday, October 8 @ Kenilworth Park

Middle School (Grades 5-8) starts at 4:00 PM

High School starts
at 4:45 PM

Coaches Meeting at 3:30 PM

Meet Location/Course Maps:

The high school course is the same as the previous DCSAA 5k Championship course. The middle school course will be 3k and a variation on the high school course.

We will have port-a-johns on site for the meets but please note there is no large restroom facility for changing so runners need to come dressed for the race. Please note buses should drop off at the lot on Deane Ave. NE.

Timing/Course Marshals:

M&D Timing will be doing the timing for the meet. There will be two course marshals monitoring the meet. M&D will be using race bibs for number identification and shoe chips for timing. Each runner will be assigned a set chip that needs to be tied onto their shoe. Please secure these well so we do not have lost chips. Additionally, please make sure to collect and turn in all chips immediately following the meet. Teams will be charged for all lost or un-returned chips.

Coaches Meeting:

The coaches meeting will be held promptly at 3:30 PM the day of the meet. At this time coaches will receive their team packets with numbers and shoe chips. I will also give any last minute details regarding the course.

Please remind your runners of sportsmanlike behavior. Cross Country is not a contact sport and runners should not be pushing one another. They also should not be blocking other runners from passing or using foul or inappropriate language. Any issues need to be reported to the Commissioner

Meet Registration will close at midnight on Friday, October 4th. I suggest getting your runners in the system as soon as possible for easier registration. Let me know if you need help with this. Payment should have already been received by the PCSAA for the season. Payment questions should be directed to pcsaadc@gmail.com.

Reminder team rosters are due to the PCSAA & DCSAA 14 days before the first contest.

If you have any questions please reach the commissioner by email at rachel.mcninch@basised.com.
