It's Loucks Week, and the best action on the East Coast is ready to kick off.

Brycen Spratling (formerly of Webster Schroeder) is most notably known for getting bored his senior year, and going out for the track team that Spring for the first time, where he would go 46.81 over the 400m (which still stands as Top 10 NY-All Time). Some several years later, and Spratling grabbed the World Best 500m ever in 1:00.06. While not an officially recognized IAAF, it is equivalent to the World Record for that event!

Neale & Knight went 1 - 2  once again. Amy-Eloise Neale of Glacier Peak and Joe Hardy of Seattle Prep triumphed  at Eagle island on Saturday and headed a field, which qualified to race in Portland.  Here is an in depth looked at the race plus odds & ends from around the nation.

Elijah Armstrong of Pocatello In the northwest Oregon & Washington runners made their final adjustments prior to their State qualifiers & Idaho runners ran their qualifiers.  The big news was on the national level, where Sara Baxter put in a performace, that was perhaps second only to that of Melody Fairchild.   Baxter ran three miles (not a 5K) at Mt. SAC in 16:00.
