Two-time National 4xMile champions La Salle double entered in relays
How do the defending New Balance Nationals 4xMile champions look? The La Salle Academy girls of Rhode Island swept the ultimate distance relay at both the indoor and outdoor national championship in 2015. The Lady Rams lost only Sheridan Wilbur from that squad, now a frosh at Duke, and regrouped to qualify for Nike Cross Nationals and place 18th in Portland.
They won't race the 4xMile here, but they are entered in both the 4x800m and the Distance Medley Relay.
Individually, the Lady Rams are spread through a few different events: Eliza Rego in the Mile, Karina Tavares in the Two Mile, so we'll see whether they race an 'A' squad or not.
