Freshman Spotlight: Atlee's Jada Foreman

Atlee freshman Jada Foreman is an athlete to watch. Already as a freshman she has placed in the top three twice at States and qualified in multiple other events. The question isn't whether she will be great or not, she already has proved that, the question is in what events.

Just one invitational into the outdoor season and she has scored 34 points for Atlee already. Those points came quick thanks to winning the 300h and finishing second in the long jump, 100H, and high jump at The Kellie Wells Classic.

Even in less-than-perfect weather she was able to jump 5-2 and 17-1 with strong hurdle times too.

Seeing those performances, and the ones indoors, it is not unlikely to expect close to 19 feet in the long jump and 5-8 in the high jump. The other question will be will those performances win her two state titles too?

Jada is a multi-sport athlete and thus has yet to fully focus on track and field. If that is to change soon you can expect even more big meets like this and better performances in the very technical events.
