Grant Holloway Breaks NCAA 60mH Record, Now Is #1 In World!

CLEMSON, Sc. - Florida sophomore and Grassfield (Chesapeake, Va.) Grant Holloway put on a show at the Tiger Paw Invitational. In his 60mH final he blasted past college and pro competition to take home the title and shattered the NCAA record en route. His final time of 7.42 was a facility record, NCAA record, and currently ranks #1 in the entire world.

Grant Holloway's Athlete Profile

This race was quite fitting to be the race where he set this record. Seeded right next to him in this race was Omar McLeod (Nike) who held the NCAA record (7.45) since 2015. Grant now holds or has held the VA state record, national high school record, and NCAA record for the hurdles.

The next record on his list will likely be the American record which is 7.36 set back in 2010.
