CARY, Nc. - Seven races down and only one to go for US #1 team Loudoun Valley. This Saturday the Viking took home their 7th meet title on the season with their win at NXN-SE. Their team score was 72, in second was Bolles (FL) with 118 and in third was Green Hope (NC) with 125.
Loudoun Valley was led this Saturday by Sam Affolder who ran a blistering 14:58 for second place. Peter Morris was fourth overall in 15:08 and Colton Bogucki was 14th in 15:32.
The other scorers for Valley were Jacob Hunter (22nd - 15:41) and Connor Wells (49th - 16:01).
This marks the first time the Vikings have made it out to NXN as a team and puts them one win within their goal of a national team title.
Individually making it for Virginia was Yared Mekonnen (Edison) who finished 8th in 15:13.
